Would any of you by any chance know the email for the Training Officer of 306 Squadron?

My understanding is it's a NATO grading - you'll notice it on AAFC Staff pay sheets as well. RAAF use it as an easy way to list rank internally - you'll see it on establishment charts etc.

if you've just turned 17, you could easily make Cadet Corporal, possibly Cadet Sergeant or even Cadet Flight Sergeant before you reached 20, given your maturity and experience, however this is also not guaranteed.

You would think that because of the duties that LTCOL Warron held in his prevoius service would gain some recognition in the ADFC wouldn't you? and that there would be some appointment of an appropriate standing?

Dosen't the ADF have a program for personnel from other countries to RPL their training?-I mean im not in (yet) but I remember reading it in some DFR thing.. And if so-wouldn't the AAFC have something like it?

Then again.. how often do you get transfers from other countries.. :P

If its any help sir, I know a cadet who was former UK Air Training Corps, as a Cadet Senior Aircraftsman, and he was made to join up as a CDT. And speaking as an 18 year old cadet, I would recommend you check out the unit and see-remember that the other cadets you will be in basic with are on average 13-14 years old.

And would he be allowed to wear any of his former awards?

I'm not trying to go against things.. just thinking aloud :P

God I wash we had military schools here in australia, I don't know why though we have millions of cadets dedicated to there careers in the defence forse come in every year, imageine how much more we could get out of it in a military school, closest thing we really have is a school based squadron but that doesn't really revolve around learning in a school enviroment.
